Construction (Camerawork and Framing)

Camerawork and framing

Shot Types- The shot types that I will be using will mainly be close shots and mid-shots of the characters so that the camera is focusing the attention on them as the story develops throughout the video. The effects that this will have on the audience is that they know that their attention should be more focused on the characters behaviours throughout. The ways in which it relates to the genre of the film is that it will  create tension through the reaction of the characters.

Camera Angles- From filming in and out of the tent for some of the viewing the camera angle will be hand held so that it is more involved with what’s happening, also that the angles will be following the characters directions to again try to show to the audience that the focus is on them.

Movement-I will be moving in and out of the tent the camera will be recording the movement so the audience knows what is going on as they enter outside to see what is wrong. The movement of the camera will be focused on the characters while moving in and out of the tent and especially when they are outside and looking for their friend when they are gone.
